We were having problems with an old septic tank and I wasn't sure where to start. Hidden Gem Septic was recommended by multiple different companies. It is nice that Kyle, Owner Operator, is very involved in all aspects of the business. He and his crew take pride in what they do and I am very thankful Hidden Gem Septic was available to do what needed to get done. I will continue to use Hidden Gem Septic. Kyle and his crew are fair, reliable and I trust them.

We had to have a complete overhaul of our septic system. From the first visit, when Kyle began to diagnose our problem, we received courteous and professional service. We were so pleased with the service we received that we declined our home warranty service’s request to use one of their contractors. We have not regretted that decision. Kyle always took the time to explain to us each step and the reasoning behind it. The communication was exceptional. If we needed a call back, had questions or something as obvious as being here when scheduled (seems obvious, but anyone who has dealt with enough contractors knows it isn’t), we weren’t ever disappointed. I’m a homeowner who lives alone on six acres out in the Coburg Hills with a well and septic. Since I moved here in 2020, I have had reoccurring problems with my septic system backing up and occasionally flooding the shower and toilets. As a result, I’ve hired numerous plumbers and rooters to try to get to what’s been causing the problem, and a month ago, it became so bad that I had to find a company that could diagnose and repair it once and for all. This is when I found Kyle, the owner of “Hidden Gem Septic”. Not only was he prompt, but he was also able to effectively pinpoint where the pipe was warped and bent at the entry point to the septic tank. He showed me pictures of where the back-up was occurring. So, we scheduled a day for him to come out to do the repairs. Unfortunately, he had a family emergency on that day and couldn’t come back for another two weeks. In the meantime, the problem got so bad that I had to hire a rooter to come up twice to snake the system out in the interim of the two week period while I waited for Kyle to come back up. As a result, I ended up having to pay $825 out of pocket for a temporary “fix” until he could come back. When he did come back, he repaired the system by replacing the old pipes with new ones, and was henceforth able to finally fix the problem I had dealt with for almost four years! After I explained that I had to pay $825 for having the system snaked twice while waiting for him to come back, he subtracted that amount from the balance I owed him as a courtesy for the inconvenience. I thought that gesture was extraordinarily, and I was very appreciative. As a result, I felt that Kyle was a person who was honest and had integrity. These are qualities that I highly value in any kind of customer service. Therefore, I would highly recommend “Hidden Gem Septic” for any issues you may have with your septic system and to expect to have a job well done with professionalism and expertise. This is why I believe this company deserves to have a 5 star rating!

Kyle did a superb job of repairing our septic system! He excavated and replaced the distribution box, replaced collapsed lines, dug back other lines, and thoroughly checked the entire system. He documented each stage with multiple photos and explanations. He checked with me at each stage of the repair. When completed, he explained the whole process with supporting photos. His work and service is exemplary! I wouldn't hesitate to call him again for any septic repairs in the future. Thank you, Kyle!

Rarely have I met a young man who is more amiable and professional, and willing to go the extra mile for his customers than Kyle, the owner/operator of Hidden Gem. He is the gem! It has been a total pleasure working with him, getting to know him, learning from him and being guided in decision making by him.
